Libraries have always been a resource for their communities, but the contemporary library can also support health and wellbeing by provision of physical spaces, digital access, information, and library programmes. Jenny Mustey and Debra Rosenthal will discuss how library services across Victoria Australia worked together to create the new Libraries for Health and Wellbeing Framework and the importance of this as a strategic direction for public libraries.

We have a strong Youth and Early learning focus for library services, but emphasis is also placed very much on Community Led events, programmes and spaces.  We support the goals of Community Connection, Sharing and preserving Rotorua Stories, Equity of access, and lifelong learning.
